Privacy notice
How Casea-guide collects, stores and uses your data — written in plain language. The legal basis is GDPR / UK GDPR / Swiss FADP / PIPEDA depending on your country.
What we collect
When you visit Casea-guide we log: IP address (truncated after 30 days), browser fingerprint hash, language, the URL you came from, and pages you read. If you accept cookies, we also store a 30-day language preference and a session ID for analytics.
Why we collect it
Two reasons: (1) to remember your language so you do not get redirected on every visit; (2) to measure which pages help readers and which do not, so we can improve the guide. We never sell or share data with marketing networks.
Cookies
Strictly necessary: csa_lang (30 days, language). Analytics (consent only): session ID and aggregate metrics, retained for 14 months. You can decline by closing the cookie banner without accepting.
Your rights
GDPR rights apply to all visitors regardless of country: access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection. To exercise any right, write to support [at] caseaspin [dot] com [dot]. We respond within 30 days.
Data retention
Server logs are deleted after 30 days. Analytics data is anonymised after 14 months. Email correspondence is retained for 2 years for legal compliance and then permanently deleted.
Third parties
We use a single hosting provider (location: EU) and one analytics tool with anonymised IPs. No data crosses to ad networks, social media, or affiliate trackers. Outbound links to operators carry only a referral parameter and a UTM tag — no personal data.
